About nerve pain in the lower extremity.
Nerve pain in the lower extremity — from peripheral neuropathy to nerve entrapment — can cause burning, numbness and weakness. Our physicians, including specialists in lower-extremity nerve care, evaluate the source and tailor treatment accordingly.
Our Chicago practice specializes in lower-extremity nerve surgery. Its Medical Director, Dr. Edgardo R. Rodriguez-Collazo, has a special interest in microsurgical nerve reconstruction and is a Board Member and Fellow of the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons.

Learn moreNeuropathy & Nerve Pain in Chicago — common questions
Do you treat neuropathy without surgery?
Our physicians evaluate the source of your nerve pain and tailor treatment accordingly. They specialize in non-surgical regenerative options and will only recommend surgery when it is truly the right answer.
Is the consultation free?
Yes. Your consultation is free, and you will get specific numbers for your own plan before you commit to anything. Most consultations begin as a telehealth call.
Does insurance cover it?
Regenerative treatments — stem cell therapy, exosome therapy, PRP, peptide therapy and BMAC — are not covered by insurance, and we do not bill insurance for them. Many patients use HSA or FSA funds where their plan allows it, and CareCredit and Affirm Pay-in-4 are available at checkout. See financing and our published prices.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed. If you have imaging, a physician will review it as part of your consultation.
