Information we collect

What you send us. When you submit a request form, use the chat assistant, or call us, we receive what you choose to share — typically your name, email address, phone number, preferred location, and what you tell us about your symptoms or reason for contacting us. Please share only what is needed to route your request; this website is not a patient portal and is not the place for your full medical history.
Chat assistant and voice calls. Messages you type into the chat assistant are processed by an AI service provider so the assistant can reply. If you talk to our virtual assistant by voice, from the website or by phone, the call is recorded and transcribed, and you are told this at the start of the call. Our team uses the recording and transcript to follow up with you.
Analytics, only with your permission. If you choose "Allow analytics", Google Analytics measures which pages are visited and how visitors found us. It never receives anything you type into a form or the chat, and we send it the page address without any search terms. If you do not allow it, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. We do not use advertising pixels on this site.
Basic site operation. Like any website, our servers log technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, and pages requested, to keep the site working and secure. Cloudflare protects the site against abuse, and our request form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots. Map embeds are provided by Google Maps, which receives your IP address when a map loads.

How we use it

To contact you by phone, text message, or email about that request.
To operate, secure, and improve this website.
To meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers for their own marketing.

Cookies and your privacy choices

The only cookie this site sets without asking records your privacy choice itself. Until you choose, Google Analytics counts page visits without cookies: it receives the page address (without any search terms), the referring site and basic device information, and no identifier is stored on your device. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics' _ga cookies) are set only after you select "Allow analytics". You can change your answer at any time with the Your Privacy Choices link at the bottom of every page; choosing "Keep it private" stops Google Analytics entirely and deletes those cookies. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser sends it, we treat it as a "no" and load no analytics at all.

Who we share it with

Service providers who operate this site and our communications on our behalf, under agreements that limit them to that purpose: website hosting and security (Cloudflare), email delivery, telephony, the AI and voice providers behind the chat and phone assistant, and Google (cookieless visit counts until you choose, full analytics only if you allow it). We also share information where required by law, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

About HIPAA

Regenerative Lower Extremity Institute is a healthcare provider. Protected health information created or received in the course of your care is governed by HIPAA and by the practice's Notice of Privacy Practices, which you receive when you become a patient — not by this policy.

Information you submit through this website before you are a patient is handled under this policy. We protect it, but a public website form is not a secure channel: please do not send sensitive medical details, images, insurance identifiers, or Social Security numbers through it.

Text messages and calls

If you give us your phone number and consent, we may call or text you about your request. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to receive messages is never a condition of treatment. See our SMS Terms & Conditions.

How long we keep it

Form requests, chat conversations, and call recordings and transcripts are kept as long as needed to respond to you and for our records, then deleted or de-identified. Server logs are kept for a short period for security. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Your privacy rights

Wherever you live, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you submitted through this website, and you may opt out of marketing contact at any time. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including California, where we see patients — also have the right to know what personal information we hold about them, to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither), and not to be treated differently for using these rights. Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information through it. If you believe a child has provided information here, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

Our site links to other websites, including Google Maps and our Google Business Profiles. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; review their policies separately.

Changes

We update this policy as our practices change and will revise the date above when we do.
